Email Customization

You can send customized emails to your donors to thank them for their generosity.  

To do so, follow these steps:

1.  Go to the ‘Payments’ tab and select Other options 
2.  Click on the checkbox in front of ‘Enable Email Notification’

3. Here you can choose from 6 instances, which one you would like to customize and activate. The options are: For single approved transactions, For Single Rejected Transactions, For credit card recurring setup, For recurring approved transaction, For recurring rejected transaction, For ACH (Bank Debit) Recurring Setup.  
4. By selecting the email instance you would like to edit, you can enter the ‘from name’ and ‘from email’ so your donors can see who sent them the email.

Fill out the Email subject line and email body. The email body can be edited by adding custom html to design the emails.

Once completed, hit ‘save’ on the top left corner. You can also send test emails to yourself to test how the email will look to your donor.  
 
You can personalize the email further by adding the variables listed below to the Email set-up, the information will be contained within the body of the email. If the end user did not provide information in the field, for example if the Comment field was left blank, the variable field within the email body ([#COMMENT#]) will contain a blank space. To avoid this, the field can be marked as required in the Aura Setup.

Note:  

  • Emails containing <img> tags may be blocked by the end user’s email account due to security concerns, and may prevent the email from being delivered successfully. Images can be added at your discretion. 
  • The below values are case sensitive. Please use only uppercase letters as per the below table.
