We have some big news to share: by the end of October, iATS Payments will officially be merging with our parent company, Deluxe, as part of Deluxe Merchant Services! I want to stress that this change won’t affect any of your clients currently using iATS and we will maintain the same level of commitment to nonprofits that iATS has held over the last 30 years.
We’ll be sharing lots of information over the coming few weeks to answer all your burning questions. Thanks for your support and I’m excited to share more about the benefits this will bring soon.
Big Results with Small Teams - Crafting an Effective Fundraising Strategy Webinar
Join Charity Shift founder and Fundraising Consultant, Sara Hoshooly, and I as we chat about building fundraising strategies in our upcoming interactive webinar! Sara brings years of experience to the table, offering practical tips that will help fundraising teams thrive.
Apart from her work consulting for nonprofits, Sara is also the founder of Connect for Good, an online resource hub built for Canadian nonprofits, and the people who serve them.
Part of my mission is to give organizations that serve nonprofits the best tools to offer advice and guidance when it comes to payments. To that end, I’ve recorded a demo based on feedback to help nonprofits using our Salesforce app, Brickwork, process batch transactions.
When I first started out in the payments world, I was recommended the book “The Anatomy of the Swipe.” If you’re looking to learn some of the basics of payments, including about interchange, card schemes, settlement, and more (accompanied by fun explanatory drawings) this is the book for you.
It’s an accessible read that anyone can learn from and can help organizations make smarter decisions for themselves. Read it yourself or recommend it to a friend/client/acquaintance to better increase payment literacy in the nonprofit world.
