We have some big news to share: by the end of October, iATS Payments will officially be merging with our parent company, Deluxe, as part of Deluxe Merchant Services! I want to stress that this change won’t affect any of your clients currently using iATS and we will maintain the same level of commitment to nonprofits that iATS has held over the last 30 years.

When I first started out in the payments world, I was recommended the book “The Anatomy of the Swipe.” If you’re looking to learn some of the basics of payments, including about interchange, card schemes, settlement, and more (accompanied by fun explanatory drawings) this is the book for you.
It’s an accessible read that anyone can learn from and can help organizations make smarter decisions for themselves. Read it yourself or recommend it to a friend/client/acquaintance to better increase payment literacy in the nonprofit world.
