International Migrants Day - PeaceGeeks

In December we acknowledge some truly special awareness days. One of which is also celebrated by one of our amazing clients, PeaceGeeks. Check out our spotlight on the remarkable work PeaceGeeks do and how they raise awareness for International Migrants Day. PeaceGeeks launched the first Ukrainian language app for refugees arriving in Canada.

iATS Payments Drupal Module

iATS Drupal Module enables accepting online payments on a Drupal website. Nonprofits can now accept payments using the Hosted Payment Form on their Drupal site; the recommended method for the most secure payment collection.

Alternatively, you can use the Drupal-Commerce direct submission, where your donors can select products/funds and check out similar to a regular shopping cart experience. We will have more information to come on the Drupal module in the coming year.

Downtown Eastside Women's Centre Holiday Campaign

The iATS Payments team has begun a collection for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC). The collection includes items ranging from clothes, toys, and sweets, to blankets and gloves. While the effort is small, we’ve enjoyed collecting much needed items to help the women of DEWC this Christmas.

You can also join in! If you're looking for a meaningful gift idea to contribute to communities this holiday season, consider donating to the DEWC. For many, December is a very special time of the year, but it can also be difficult for women in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside community. The DEWC serves over 1000 women and children, and we hope everyone will receive a gift or care package - adding some dignity and cheer to their holiday!
